Biography: The eldest child of Kenneth and Pamela James. The James family is a good Catholic family that goes to church every Sunday. She is the bubbly best friend of Paige Parker and has been since the James' family moved to Saunders Bay when Ali was seven.

Since high school, Ali has been in love with Luke, Paige's twin brother. When Ali is attacked by Tony Sanchez, Paige's ex-boyfriend, Luke saves her life before Tony can kill her. When that happens Luke begins to see another side of Ali.

Ali moves into the Parker house with Luke and Ali, when her father kicks her out for getting involved with Luke. Ali tries to keep her cool with Luke, but at times she can't control herself and their relationship progresses faster than she is used to.

When Luke finds out he could be the father of Rory's Spencer's baby, he hides it from Ali. Will Ali find out? And when she does will it break them up or bring them closer?
