Biography: The second eldest daughter of Jack and Penelope Parker. Moved away from Saunders Bay the day after her high school graduation. Has the freespirited nature like her mother and doesn't stay in one place very long.

Had a brief relationship with journalist Cooper Maxwell while they were in Chicago. Shortly after arriving in Saunders Bay the two broke up and Cooper went back to Chicago while Ariel stayed in Saunders Bay. When her mother came back, Ariel had a devastating realization that her mother wasn’t the woman that she painted the picture for her to be. Along with dealing iwht a new half sister and troubles among her silbling, Ariel is still in the end an optimist and a true romantic.
