Biography: The eldest Donnelly child, Gregory moved to Italy after his mother's death at the age of seventeen. He witnessed his parents arguing the morning before his mother died and knew his father had something to do with his death. He goes against everything his father is, and wants to show the world that not all Donnelly's are evil.

After more than a decade away from Saunders Bay, he comes back to town and ends up sleeping with his brother's ex-fiance. When Gregory finds out who she is, he realizes they could be some use to each other.

He was once engaged to Arianna, a friend of his sister's, from Italy. Arianna comes to Saunders Bay for Caroine's wedding and sparks fly between Charlotte, Gregory, and Arianna.
