Behind The Love

April 16, 2009

Thomas Crawford Carmichael was her first love, her first sexual experience and her first heartbreak and now she was going to relive it all.

With a half eaten bag of quaker oats peanut butter flavored granola bites we are going to take you behind the scenes at a sneak peak of episode 11 of this new drama that has taken the Internet by storm. The excitment is all about the new man in town. His name might ring a bell, Jensen Ackles. The producer Carrie Rene has done it again and given us a little something more to savor then those delicious looking apple pies. He is playing Thomas Crawford Carmichael, Ariel Parker's first love. when we come back we'll get to watch part of this scene, but first let's hear from some of her viewers about their reactions to episode 10.

Allison from Tennessee - That scene with Josh, Tony and Brandon on the docks had my heart racing. My word that was intense, I was literally at the edge of my seat and as a fan of Josh I love how he is such a good guy and the love he shares for Paige is evident, I ain't gonna lie Brandon and Paige are hot together, but Josh and Paige have something real, I'm so conflicted.

Vanessa from Arizona - I have two words Charlotte and Gregory!!

Ariel didn’t let him get the last word in as she left his apartment leaving him standing there shocked, frustrated, and aroused by the woman he once loved. She was right though and he knew it. He walked down the hallway towards his bedroom remembering the feeling of emptiness he felt when she had left just days after their high school graduation. Tommy opened the door to his bedroom which looked nothing like the rest of his apartment. The room was organized and tidy with the full size bed neatly made and the dresser filled with pictures from his past. He picked up the five by seven picture frame with a photo of Ariel and him at their Senior Prom with him in his tuxedo with the cobalt blue bow tie and Ariel in her matching cobalt blue short prom dress. They looked so happy together, it was only six short weeks later that she left him in Saunders Bay never to be heard from again.
“I’ve missed you,” Tommy said to himself remembering their times in the back seat of his black 1972 Chevelle.
He picked up the next picture on his dresser of Ariel on the hood of his car with her arms wrapped around his neck and some of their friends surrounding them.

Wow!! Carrie Rene has done it again, she transported us into the town of Saunders Bay and into this young man's heart. With his grease stains and deep love for a Parker woman, my prediction is that he will quickly be a fan favorite. This is Candy Cane reporting live from the set of Juniper's Love where the pie is delicious, the men are downright scrumptious, the love in town is daring, and always has us wonder just what's going on in that freezer!! Tune in next time with the season finale approaching where we sit down with Carrie Rene and her thoughts about season 1 and where season 2 might take us. Wishing everyone peace, love, and pas de bourrees!!

Is it that hard for you to believe in love?

Wow. That is one powerful line from yesterday's episode of the new hit show Juniper's Love. It's a scene that took place between two of the main players in the town of Saunders Bay and it was a doozy. Later, we'll hear from a couple hard-core fans on their thoughts of the latest episode of Juniper's, but first we were able to get an in-dept interview with a very special guest. You all now know her as Ashley, the quirky waitress at Junipers who is very familiar with a walk-in freezer and might also remember her face fourteen years ago when she starred in a Welch's grape juice commercial. She was nice enough to take some time with us to give us the inside scoop on Juniper's Love.

CC - What's it like working on the new hit series Juniper's Love?
It's truly amazing. I am so grateful that I have this opportunity to work on a show with such depth and creativity alongside with such a terrific cast. When I walked into the first day of taping I got my hair done next to Kirsten Storms, I was in awe. It was amazing and is amazing to work with such talented actors and writers every day.

CC - Tell us, in your opinion what makes Juniper's so special?
:laughs: aside from the fact that I got to have a scene with James Marsden there are so many things that make this show so special. The storylines are so touching and compelling that once you start a show like this there is no going back. Plus, the storyline is set around such a wonderful family. You have Jack, the Dad who in every scene he does his amazing sense of family and devotion is in every breath of him. Plus, the idea of the restaurant being a character in the story really adds a whole new dimension, it's part of their family and it helps to make them who they are. I can't help but gush about the writer, she is absolutely brilliant, her scenes and dialogue blow me away, and she is really open to the ideas of the cast, so easy to talk to.

CC - What were you feelings when you got handed your script?
I was positively ecstatic. When I read my lines I thought I couldn't wait to play Ashley. She is kind of quirky and a tad outspoken. I wanted to play a character that is fun, different and adds a bit of lightness to the show. That's another great thing about Juniper's, there is a nice flow between drama and just plain fun, and it works out so great.

CC - Okay so tell us, what is up with that freezer?
:smiles: I was so excited when I read all the comments about the freezer scene and what exactly had happened. I can't say much, but I can say that the actor who is going to play my "freezer buddy" :laughs: is one to watch. He is an absolute delight and is truly an amazing actor.

CC - Okay, so you won't give us the dish about the freezer but can you give us any clues about future storylines.
Well, I can say everyone is in for shocks, surprises, and amazing moments. There will be a lot of romance, and from characters you wouldn't expect to be hooking up and a wedding that will occur will be the talk of the town, but not exactly for the exchange of vows. Plus, expect to see some amazing scenes from Luke (Jared) and I must say, wow! I was watching the taping of these scenes and he literally took my breath away, beautiful scenes.

CC - That's all the time we have for today, I can't thank you enough for taking some time with us and giving us the dish on this hit new show.
Not problem at all, I had an awesome time meeting everyone here, plus I can't help but gush about Junipers, I'm so excited about the direction it's heading. Thanks so much for having me, I'm a big fan of the show!!

She was a delight and was as excited as the rest of us about Juniper's Love. We'll be right back with some last minute news from some loyal viewers right after a short break from our sponsors.

REAL OR RUMOR Ashley had a very strong reaction to the episode 4 banner. Her cheeks got flushed, her mouth was in the awe position, and giddy feelings were all around here.

REAL - On 430pm Tuesday afternoon Ashley was reported starring at her computer screen for multiple minutes. It appears that Carrie Rene created another banner that blew Ashley away. After the interview with the star, Ashley said this is a reaction that happens create frequently when Carrie produces something of an artistic nature and expects it to happen again. The star seemed to be raving about Juniper's Love along for her reaffirmed fondness for Quaker Oats chocolate chip oatmeal bars!!

In buzzworthy news, there is a reported new feature on JL's home page that is all the rage. Critics say critics love, smart choice and the fans are pleased that their feedback is so valued to the writer. What a lovely way to show appreciation from the fans of the story and from the writer to the fans!!

This is Candy Cane reporting live from Texas...tune into tomorrow when we go backstage with the cast of Juniper's Love and get an in-dept interview with the girl who plays Ashley, a quirky waitress at Juniper's.
